Towards the end of last year there was some discussion about what we want to do as a fleet which resulted in an informal fleet "AGM" in November, with the aim of getting
things organised and people more involved.
There was a very brief discussion, from which the main points raised were:
- Communication - Notice board/email list/online forum/Facebook page
- Having a Key Day - To encourage people to go sailing
- Selecting 3 or 4 open meetings that we will target
- Security
- Training
- Social
It was a small but enthusiastic beginning - Mike Wilcock volunteered to be Training Rep., Francis Newman volunteered to be communications Rep and Clay Davies was subsequently volunteered to be Social Rep.!
So expect to hear or see something new shortly! If you have an idea or wish to get involved just volunteer!
