The start sequence is a 4 minute preparatory signal and a 2 minute warning signal, with the exception of RS300 whose preparatory is 6 mins.
Sunday Race Programme - Spring, Summer, Autumn (March - December)
The races in the Sunday Race Programme will be approximately 40 minutes duration for lead boats. All boats crossing the finishing line after the leading boat will be signalled finished including boats that have been lapped. The Race Officer will position boats in their respective fleets accordingly.

The Sunday Race Officer Of the Day (OOD) should endeavour to start races punctually. Races 1, 2, and 4 will start at the times above or one minute after the previous race, whichever is later. The rostered OOD and assistant OODs shall organise Races 1, 2 and 4, and be in attendance for Race 3 providing start/finish signals and safety cover.
All full sailing members should check and confirm they are available for their Sunday Duty as per the Roster, arranging any swap as required.
Advice on the Duties required as OOD/Assistant OOD's can be found on the club website or from any member of the Sailing Committee.

Wednesdays
Illusion racing takes place from March - September at 11am on Wednesday Mornings. The Wednesday Evening Pursuit Series runs in the summer from April to the end of August. The first start is at 18.55
Winter Handicap Series (January - March)
The Winter Handicap Series runs on Sunday mornings, and includes two races each Sunday, each of approximately 40 mins, sailed back to back with the first start at 11am. |
