Start Racing Print E-mail

Our Start Racing Course is aimed at developing regular dinghy racing skills in the 13yr olds and above. We assume that they already have basic skills before they join this group and therefore the minimum sailing requirement for the course is a Youth Scheme Stage 2 certificate (3 preferred) or an Adults level 2 certificate.

During this Sunday afternoon course this group will be focused on achieving the standards for RYA Start Racing Certificate. The course will take place in the clubs new fleet of Picos and in club Wayfarers, which should be lots of fun, but places are limited. Sessions can also be run in students own boats.

Sessions take place over 4 Sundays in June/July, Please see our course bookings page for exact details.

Times: Sundays, 13:00 to 16:00

For information on Club membership please contact the Membership Secretary.
